Does i>clicker work with MacOS 10.12 Sierra?

Last Updated: Dec 22, 2016
Yes! i>clicker versions 7.9 and above work with MacOS Sierra. If you had i>clicker already on your computer before upgrading it to Sierra, your software should continue to work as before. If you download NEW i>clicker software onto Sierra, you must download it directly from our website (https://www1.iclicker.com/downloads-release-notes/), double-click the .dmg file to mount it (it will appear like a removable USB drive on your Mac), create a new folder on your Mac entitled “i>clicker 7” (or similar), then copy/paste the iclicker.app file from within the .dmg disk image into this new folder. Once you run i>clicker from this new folder, all the supporting files and folders will be created as normal and i>clicker will function as before.

If you need i>clicker software configured to integrate with your campus LMS, you will need to copy the LMS_Wizard.xml file for your campus into the “Resources” folder of this new i>clicker software in order to take advantage of the integration.

NOTE: when new i>clicker releases come out, you can simply click Help > Check for Update from the i>clicker program menu to update to the latest version.
